Eau Rouge kerb altered after driver concerns
The new kerb on the exit of Eau Rouge has been removed following concerns from drivers about its positioning. A new kerb was added to the fast left-hander leading out of the iconic corner, but after Jenson Button referred to it as 'scary' coming into the weekend, he was supported by others during Friday's drivers' briefing, who felt it could create further issues if struck. As a result, the kerb has been removed, though the FIA has made it clear that any drivers deemed to be gaining an advantage by running off track will be punished accordingly. There is no suggestion it has been removed in the wake of Nico Rosberg's tyre blow-out, which Pirelli speculates was due to an 'external source'....
