Chilton admits to Haas talks
Former Marussia Formula One driver Max Chilton has conceded that he has been in conversation with the Haas team for one of their 2016 seats. The Briton revealed that he had been in preliminary talks with the US team, but added that he does not believe he is a front-runner. Chilton last raced at the 2014 Russian Grand Prix before the Marussia team's financial situation worsened, forcing the team to miss the final three races of the season. He had driven for the team since the start of the 2013 season, accumulating 35 Grand Prix starts. Since leaving the team, he has been competing in the Indy Lights championship in America.
