Formula One Management backs Pirelli's tyres

Pirelli Media Formula One Management has issued a staunch defense of tyre supplier Pirelli following its failures at the Belgian Grand Prix. Nico Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel suffered tyre failures, leading to comments that such a situation was 'unacceptable.' Pirelli presented its findings ahead of the Italian Grand Prix and while Vettel said that more progress still needs to be made, Bernie Ecclestone's Formula One Management defended Pirelli.
