Drivers' Commission meets in Paris

FIA's Drivers' Commission discusses a number of issues including track limits. The commission, which was established in 2013 at the instigation of Jean Todt, and represents participants from all levels of motor sport, met in Paris, and those present included commission president Emerson Fittipaldi, vice-president Tom Kristensen and Nigel Mansell. On the agenda was the need to add further sections to the Drivers' Code of Conduct and in particular the need to find a solution to instil respect for track limits in drivers of all ages - the commission believing the increased tarmac run-offs on circuits has led to scope for stricter enforcement of track limits.
