Rossi replaces Merhi at Manor Marussia

– Alexander Rossi will make his Formula 1 debut at this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix after Manor Marussia confirmed that the American driver would replace Roberto Merhi at the team.Rossi currently occupies second position in the GP2 championship but will make the step up to Formula 1 with Manor Marussia, alongside regular driver Will Stevens.Rossi has participated in practice sessions for both Caterham and Marussia though will make his full-time debut this weekend."I'm very thankful to race for Manor Marussia and for their continued belief in me," said Rossi."I've been prepared for this opportunity for quite a while now.
