Preparations for F1 debut 'surreal' – Rossi
Alexander Rossi says it is a surreal feeling to be preparing for his Formula 1 debut with the Manor team in Singapore. Rossi will become the first American to race in F1 since Scott Speed back in 2007 this weekend, after signing a deal to drive for Manor in five of the remaining seven grands prix. “The big thing that I’ve been missing for the last three years in my F1 career is actually racing,” Rossi told reporters in Singapore. “We have been close a few times, but it’s very surreal now that it is about to happen. “This is a major step in really firmly putting myself on the Formula 1 map and the radar, so I’m just focusing on doing a good job in these next five races and...
