Kvyat leads Raikkonen in second Singapore practice

Daniil Kvyat recovered from his difficult first practice to lead the way under the night sky in second practice at Singapore as neither Mercedes finished inside the top three. Kvyat set the pace for the beleaguered Infiniti Red Bull Racing team with a lap of 1m46.142s to beat Scuderia Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen by just 0.039s, while Daniel Ricciardo made it a reasonable afternoon for Red Bull with third place. Lewis Hamilton was the leading Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS driver in fourth, 0.337s behind Kvyat, while team-mate Nico Rosberg was down in seventh, behind the second Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel and Sahara Force India’s Sergio Perez, as both championship contenders seemed to struggle with...
