Rossi disappointed crash overshadowed solid first Manor run-out

Alexander Rossi is disappointed that his crash in the dying stages of FP1 overshadowed an otherwise positive first day of running with Manor in Singapore. Rossi enjoyed his first run-out in a Formula 1 car since last year's Belgian Grand Prix on Friday after announcing a five-race deal with Manor earlier in the week. The American set a good pace in FP1, finishing just 0.015 seconds off the best lap of full-time Manor driver Will Stevens. However, his session came to an early end when he crashed his car at the tight Turn 18, damaging the right hand side of his car.
