FP1 & FP2 Recap: Singapore Grand Prix

FP1 and FP2 was full of surprises. Teams that were expected to fall next to the dominating Mercedes team were not only able to compete, but they excelled in the practice sessions. The first practice saw Nico Rosberg regain his confidence. He immediately set the pace by setting the only time below 1:48, which was three tenths quicker than Hamilton. Mercedes looked to have grip of the session until Daniel Riccardo of Red Bull cut Mercedes’ advantage to .3s. However, everything did not go smooth for newly signed American driver, Alexander Rossi.
