Teams express opposition to wind tunnel ban talks

Several teams have expressed their opposition to a proposed banning of wind tunnel use in Formula 1, suggesting it won't have the desired effect of driving down costs. The debate over whether wind tunnels should be outlawed was again discussed during a Strategy Group meeting, but the topic again came up against opposition from teams who are unconvinced it would serve its intended purpose.
