Vettel Takes Pole in Singapore

The FP3 session that saw eight drivers only .5 seconds apart and FP1 and FP2 revealed that Ferrari and Red Bull were setting the pace around Singapore. Qualifying was projected to be a grid that would be varied and could finally see Mercedes as not a favorite to lock up the front row. Lewis Hamilton could tie Aryton Senna’s pole record of 8 consecutive if he were to take the top grid spot in Singapore.
