Track invasion a safety concern, say team bosses

Red Bull boss Christian Horner says it should not have been possible for a fan to get on to the track at the Singapore Grand Prix, as investigations continue in to what happened. A 27-year-old man was arrested by Singapore police after walking onto the track on the straight between Turns 13 and 14 during the race. CCTV footage of the incident showed that he climbed through a hole in the fence directly onto the racing line before beginning walking up the circuit. It was only when he spotted the fast approaching Sebastian Vettel that he began running. He swiftly crossed the track before again walking to clamber through another hole in the fence.
