Lewis Hamilton Ties Senna in Japan

Weather seemed to be cooperating as the 2015 Japanese Grand Prix began. Conditions looked to be troubling in a different way as the heat on the track would erode the tyres more quickly than usual. Hamilton had a blistering start as he began to squeeze his teammate out in the first corner. This allowed Valtteri Bottas of Williams and Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari to gain positions on Nico Rosberg. Felipe Massa of Williams and Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull collided on the start/finish straight and both drivers received punctures.
