Revised penalty system introduced for Season 2

Formula E will introduce a revised penalty system for the upcoming season, as well as the option for ‘Full Course Yellows' during a race. The revised penalty system will follow the Formula 1 model, with race stewards having the option to punish unruly drivers with penalties of increasing severity. The penalties are: 5 Second time penalty. The driver can either stop for five seconds in the pitlane as part of their pitstop, or have five seconds added to their race time. A 10 second time penalty. As above, but for ten seconds. Drive through penalty. The driver must enter and exit the pitlane, obeying the speed limits. No pitstop permitted. A 10 second stop-go penalty. The driver must...
