Williams upbeat over wet weather progress

Williams Martini Racing Williams' head of vehicle performance Rob Smedley is confident that the squad is making progress in low-speed corner and wet weather conditions, two aspects where the outfit has struggled across recent years. Williams has been among the outfits to challenge Mercedes since Formula 1's new regulations were introduced for 2014, but the team has struggled on some circuits, such as Monaco, as well as when rain strikes, as was demonstrated by its lack of pace when wet weather affected the British Grand Prix.
