Rosberg fastest, Sainz Jr crash shortens FP3

Nico Rosberg set the pace in final practice for the Russian Grand Prix, but the session was cut short after a heavy crash for Carlos Sainz Jr. The Spanish driver crashed at Turn 13 with 25 minutes left on the clock. His Toro Rosso was burried in the barriers and the session was red flagged, with Race Control then confirming that it would not restart. The FIA has announced that he is conscious and TV footage showed Sainz Jr giving a thumbs up as he was put into an ambulance after being removed from the car.
