Pirelli confirms final tyre nominations

F1's tyre supplier Pirelli has announced its tyre compound nominations for the final rounds of the 2015 season. For the next round at the Circuit of the Americas in the United States, the white-marked medium and yellow-banded soft compounds will be used. These are the same as the tyres nominated for last year's race in Austin, Texas. Round 16 of the season is back-to-back with the Mexican Grand Prix, which returns to the F1 calendar for the first time since 1992. Pirelli has opted to also use the medium and soft tyres for the race, which takes place at the revised Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, as simulation data has suggested the compounds will be best suited to the circuit.
