One Year Rewind – Hamilton snatches victory in Texas

As the fight for the 2014 drivers’ title heated up, Lewis Hamilton stormed to victory at the United States Grand Prix after a pass on team-mate Nico Rosberg. It was Rosberg who started on pole position, having set the quickest time in Q3 on Saturday. Hamilton was in second, with Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa locking out the second row for Williams. Daniel Ricciardo, Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button, Kevin Magnussen, Kimi Raikkonen and Adrian Sutil completed the top 10 on the grid. Pastor Maldonado, Sergio Perez, Nico Hulkenberg and Daniil Kvyat were all eliminated in Q2.
