Ferrari drivers pick up engine change penalties

Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen will pick up engine change penalties for this weekend's United States Grand Prix. Vettel, who is now second in the drivers' championship, 66 points behind Lewis Hamilton, confirmed on Thursday at the Circuit of the Americas that he will use a fifth engine. It was always the plan for Ferrari to fit new power units for the race in Austin, Texas. Vettel will drop 10 places on the grid for Sunday's United States Grand Prix. 'We will have the hit of a 10 places penalty for a new engine at this event but it has always been the plan, it's not a big secret,' he told reporters at the track.
