Red Bull approaches Honda over 2016 deal

 XPB Images Red Bull has approached Honda over a power unit supply for 2016 as it looks to try and secure a deal to remain in F1. Having moved to terminate its contract with Renault a year early, Red Bull was rejected by both Mercedes and Ferrari, leaving it without a power unit deal for next season. F1i understands Red Bull approached Honda in the weeks surrounding the Russian Grand Prix, meaning all four power unit suppliers currently in the sport have been contacted.
