Kvyat: Victory was possible if it stayed wet

Daniil Kvyat feels a victory at the United States Grand Prix could have been possible if the entire race had taken place in wet conditions. The two Red Bull cars started third and fourth but challenged the Mercedes drivers for the lead in the early stages on the intermediate tyre. However, both dropped back when conditions improved enough for a change to slicks. Kvyat crashed out later in the race after running wide at the penultimate corner. 'The opening laps were mega, it was very enjoyable and it was nice fighting, but then the track dried out,' he said afterwards. 'If it was a wet race I felt it could have been a victory today.
