Magnussen handed Porsche LPM1 test

 XPB Images Ex-McLaren-Honda reserve driver Kevin Magnussen will sample the Porsche 919 Hybrid, which is currently leading the LMP1 class in the FIA World Endurance Championship, during a test held at Barcelona on November 10/11. The Dane will join multiple GP2 Series race winner Mitch Evans and McLaren-Honda test and development driver Oliver Turvey for a two-day session at the Spanish Grand Prix venue. Despite an encouraging F1 rookie campaign in 2014, Magnussen had to step back to a reserve role following Fernando Alonso’s return to Woking last winter.
