Rosberg blames 'big gust of wind' for Austin mistake

Nico Rosberg has blamed 'wind' for costing him victory in Austin after he ran-wide whilst being chased down by team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who eventually won the race as a result. After the race, Rosberg described the mistake as "very odd", but speaking to the media on Thursday in Mexico, he believes he now understands why it happened. "It was a gust of wind," he explained. "A big one. I'm serious, actually. "But everybody has it so you can't really use it as an excuse. It is still a mistake but I understand my mistake now and that's important.
