Pirelli confirms Abu Dhabi test, new purple-marked tyre

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has confirmed that a 12-hour test will take place on the Tuesday following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, in which the new Ultra Soft compound will make its track debut.Pirelli will remain as the sole tyre supplier in the sport until at least the end of 2019 and has requested further test days, and the FIA's World Motor Sport Council has ratified the agreement to hold a session in Abu Dhabi.The test will run from 9am to 9pm on Tuesday 1 December at the Yas Marina Circuit."Teams have been asked to run preferably race or reserve drivers, and they will not be allowed to try new parts nor alter the cars during the test," Pirelli confirmed."All...
