Mexico Circuit President Willing to Work with COTA

The President of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez believes that cooperation with the Circuit of the Americas could benefit both race weekends in the foreseeable future. The Mexican Grand Prix returned a couple weekends ago after a 23 year old hiatus. The United States Grand Prix happened to be held one week before the return of Formula 1 in Mexico. Bobby Epstein, the owner of the Austin, Texas circuit said that the heavy rain that occurred was “financially devastating” for the track. It is predicted that the circuit and the entire event loss millions of dollars due to the storm. However, one week later in Mexico City saw 330,000 attendees throughout the race weekend.
