Daniil Kvyat: “One of my best qualifying laps this year”
Daniil Kvyat felt his qualifying session for the Brazilian Grand Prix on Saturday was one of his best of the season, despite only setting the seventh fastest time in Interlagos. The Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver will move up to sixth once Valtteri Bottas takes his grid penalty, but Kvyat reckons things are going good for the Russian driver after perhaps his strongest race performance of his career two weeks ago in Mexico City. “I’m happy with the job we did today, we managed a good clean lap in Q3,” said Kvyat. “It was probably one of my best qualifying laps this year. “I had my best race of the season in Mexico and now one of my best qualifying sessions in Brazil so I'm quite...
