Ericsson rues race compromised by Maldonado

– Sauber driver Marcus Ericsson says his hopes of a top 10 finish at the Brazilian Grand Prix were compromised when he was pitched into a spin by Lotus rival Pastor Maldonado.Maldonado and Ericsson were contesting 13th position when the pair made contact at the Senna S, tipping the Swedish driver into a spin and forcing him to make an extra pit stop.Ericsson dropped to 17th place, where he remained for the rest of the race, while Maldonado went on to round out the top 10 despite being handed a five second penalty for causing the collision."I think it was probably the worst start of my F1 career, as I had a lot of wheel spin and then almost dropped down to last," Ericsson...
