Alfonso Celis announced as new Force India development driver

Force India have announced Alfonso Celis will be the new development driver for the 2016 F1 season, and in addition will participate in seven practice sessions in the Force India F1 car for 2016. The 19-year old Meixcan has made his debut in single seater GP3 this season as well as Formula 3.5, and made his first podium at Spa this year. 'I would like to welcome Alfonso to the team and wish him well ahead of his debut with us in Abu Dhabi,' Force India team principal and managing director Vijay Mallya told the press.
