Hamilton nominated for BBC Sports Personality
– World Champion Lewis Hamilton has once again been nominated for the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.Hamilton finished runner-up in the contest in 2007 and 2008 before lifting the trophy in Glasgow last year.Mercedes driver Hamilton secured 10 victories en-route to his third Formula 1 title in 2015, as he once again beat team-mate Nico Rosberg.Hamilton is likely to face stiff competition from Tour de France victor Chris Froome, long-distance runner Mo Farah and Tennis star Andy Murray, who helped guide Britain to its first Davis Cup triumph since 1936 last weekend.The ceremony will take place in Belfast's SSE Arena on December 20, with the victor decided via...
