Ferrari cleared to supply Toro Rosso

The FIA World Motor Sport Council has cleared Toro Rosso to use 2015 Ferrari engines next season. After both Red Bull teams cut ties with Renault, Toro Rosso agreed an engine deal to run year-old power unites from Ferrari, whose engines it raced with between 2007-13. However, the Faenza-based squad had to wait for clarification from the FIA to clear Ferrari to supply two different specifications of power unit in a single season.
