Pirelli explains 2016 tyre regulation tweaks

Pirelli Media Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has formally confirmed the changes made to regulations regarding the use of compounds in 2016. Pirelli will bring three compounds from its extended range of five to every Grand Prix in 2015, from which every driver can select two compounds to use. The existing four compounds, Super Soft, Soft, Medium and Hard, will be joined by the Ultra Soft, which was tested in Abu Dhabi earlier this week and will feature purple on its side wall.
