Toro Rosso confirms Ferrari engines for 2016 season

Toro Rosso has confirmed that it will be powered by Ferrari engines for the 2016 F1 season. The Italian outfit's STR11 will use the final specification of Ferrari's 2015 power unit next year, switching from Renault. The news comes after Red Bull announced earlier on Friday that it will has secured a deal to run with TAG Heuer-branded Renault power units in 2016. Toro Rosso previously raced with Ferrari power from 2007 to 2013, before making the move over to Renault for the following year. 2015 rookies Carlos Sainz Jr and Max Verstappen remain at the team.
