Palmer wins McLaren Formula 1 test

– Will Palmer will receive a Formula 1 test outing with McLaren after claiming the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC award during a ceremony in London on Sunday night.Palmer, the son of ex-Formula 1 driver Jonathan and younger brother of 2016 Renault racer Will, took 12 wins and three further podiums en route to the 2015 BRDC Formula 4 title.Palmer came out on top after two days of assessments at Silverstone, which included Formula 2, Mercedes DTM and McLaren GT runs, interviews, simulator sessions and fitness tests.Palmer also won £100,000, BRDC membership and an Arai GP-6 RC carbon helmet."Every year I've seen the six finalists on stage and dreaming of one day taking...
