Palmer: Giving up was not an option

– Manor Marussia has not yet confirmed its line-up but as it stands Lotus/Renault driver Jolyon Palmer will be the only rookie on the 2016 grid. The 2014 GP2 champion spent 2015 as Lotus' reserve, participating in 13 practice sessions and four days of testing in the E23 Hybrid, before earning a promotion with the outfit following Romain Grosjean's departure to Haas.
