Pirelli announces tyre choices for Bahrain, China

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has announced its tyre compound choices for the 2016 Bahrain and Chinese Grands Prix, the second and third rounds of the championship. Pirelli has chosen the same three compounds that it had announced for the season-opening race in Australia: the supersoft, the soft and the medium. The soft and the medium will be the mandatory compounds that will need to be used at some point during the race. The Italian manufacturer has again assigned the supersoft tyres for Q3. All drivers must save one of the softest compounds for Q3, and the set will then be returned to Pirelli only by those who qualified in the top 10. The rest of the drivers will have the extra set...
