Sepang Circuit ready for revamp

The Sepang International Circuit will undergo maintenance in 2016 to ensure it remains a world-class track. The Malaysian track will close between the February 15 and May 8 next year in order to be upgraded. The track plays host to major international events such as the Formula 1 Malaysian Grand Prix, Malaysian MotoGP and various testing sessions in both sports. It is also available to the public through private bookings. “The last five years have seen an average 98 per ent usage of the track's availability throughout the year, from large international events all the way to private bookings,” said the track’s chief executive Datuk Razland Razali.
