Sauber turns to Santa with F1 wish-list

Sauber has reiterated its 'wish' for Formula 1 to introduce a budget cap and a fairer distribution of the sport's royalties in a tongue-in-cheek 'letter to Santa'. After suffering the worst F1 campaign of its long history in 2014 when it failed to get on the scoreboard, Sauber enjoyed a revival of sorts in 2015, cracking the top ten on nine occasions en route to eight overall. However, though it enjoyed a best finish of fifth place courtesy of Felipe Nasr in Australia, Sauber has made no secret of its continued frustration with the way F1 is run, most specifically the distribution of prize money and the way it is weighted towards the top teams.
