Maldonado confirms loss of 2016 seat
Pastor Maldonado's admission suggests Kevin Magnussen will drive for Renault this season. Whilst many are expecting the news to be officially confirmed on Wednesday, when Renault hosts a press conference in Paris, Pastor Maldonado - not for the first time - appears to have jumped the gun. Taking to Twitter, the Venezuelan revealed that he will not be on the grid this year. 'Today with the utmost humility I inform you that I will not be present at the starting grid for the 2016 F1 season,' he wrote.
