Ghosn wants Alonso back at Renault

 XPB Images Renault Group chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn says he would like the new F1 team to re-sign double world champion Fernando Alonso. Alonso won his two drivers' championships with Renault in 2005 and 2006 during his first spell with the team, leaving for McLaren after his second title before returning a year later. He again departed Renault at the end of the 2009 season to race for Ferrari, but last year re-joined McLaren and endured a difficult first season with the McLaren-Honda partnership.
