Vettel quickest on opening morning

Sebastian Vettel set the pace on the opening morning of pre-season testing as the F1 teams debuted their 2016 challengers. It was a damp and chilling start to the morning at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as many of the teams took the covers off their new cars. Lewis Hamilton in his W07 was the first driver out on track followed by Renault's Jolyon Palmer, Valtteri Bottas in the Williams and Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo. It was the latter who set the first lap time of the pre-season as he crossed the line with a 1:40.746.
