Barcelona Test 1 Debrief: Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull

The first pre-season test of 2016 has finished, so let's look at how each team fared over the four days in Barcelona. Mercedes: Despite their lack of headline grabbing pace over the test, it appears that Mercedes are, yet again, the team to beat this season. Opting to run only the Medium compound tyres over the four days, they very evidently did not show their hand. Lewis Hamilton & Nico Rosberg clocked up the highest and second highest mileage of the participating drivers, with Mercedes themselves putting 3142 kilometres on their team odometer.
