Raikkonen downplays visual impact of halo device
Scuderia Ferrari Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen says that the 'halo' device makes very little difference when driving a Formula 1 car, after he debuted a prototype on Thursday. Raikkonen completed an installation lap in the SF16-H at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Thursday, with the sport set to introduce increased cockpit protection for drivers in 2017. "This morning I tried the Halo protection device and the difference to the usual driving was surprisingly small," he said.
