Barcelona F1 test: Vettel keeps Ferrari on top as testing ends

Sebastian Vettel kept Ferrari at the head of the times on Friday as pre-season testing came to an end at Barcelona. The German's best lap of 1:22.852 was set in the morning with supersoft tyres and meant Ferrari has been quickest in five of the eight days of testing this year. Vettel covered 142 laps on the day to finish ahead of the Toro Rosso of Carlos Sainz, who again managed well over 100 laps. The Spaniard was the only driver in the top five to set his best time of the session using the new ultrasoft tyres.
