Las Vegas could replace Monza in 2017

As Monza's future talks continue, Bernie Ecclestone has unexpectedly claimed that Las Vegas 'has an F1 contract' for the 2017 season, however no promises are being made for the famous United States venue returning for Formula 1.  The chances of Las Vegas further expanding the current record breaking 21-race calendar is highly unlikely, however as more future uncertainty falls on one of motorsport's most iconic and classic venues, Las Vegas may be in prime position to take advantage of the situation, allowing Formula 1 to further emerge in the US market.
