Palmer: Not ideal Friday after issues
Jolyon Palmer is hoping the Renault team can find more performance before tomorrow's running after a difficult couple of practice sessions. The Renault team endured a difficult start to their Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, with Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer finishing no higher than fifteenth in the first two practice sessions. After finishing down in 18th and 20th places in the first and second free practice sessions respectively, Palmer revealed that he was hindered by a tyre blanket issue in the first session.
