Wehrlein hails Manor step forward

Manor Racing Pascal Wehrlein hailed the progress made by Manor after he qualified in 16th position for the Bahrain Grand Prix. Wehrlein comfortably out-qualified team-mate Rio Haryanto and set a couple of eye-catching laps, only narrowly missing out on a place in Q2. Wehrlein praised Manor for the progress it made since the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, where he qualified at the back of the field. "I’m really happy with qualifying, the team has done an incredible job," he said.
