Valtteri Bottas hit with penalty points for causing Hamilton collision

Bahrain Grand Prix – Williams' Valtteri Bottas has been given two penalty points for his part in colliding with Lewis Hamilton on Lap 1, but the Finn says he thinks Hamilton was, at least, a little to blame. The pair collided at the opening corner of the race, with Lewis Hamilton sandwiched in behind teammate Nico Rosberg. Sensing an opportunity, Bottas attempted to squeeze up the inside of Hamilton, who then tried to switch back to attack his teammate. Bottas and Hamilton collided, with Hamilton punted sideways on track in front of the Williams. There was damage to both, although they both managed to continue and finish the race.
