Raikkonen claims early crash wasn't a disaster

Qualifying in P3 ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix, Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen dropped down to the back of the grid after his teammate Sebastian Vettel slammed into him in the early stages of lap 1. When Raikkonen rejoined the group after being forced off the track, the Finn slowly limped back into the pits to get a new nose. However, the 2007 World Champion recovered during the race and reserved his tyres well to finish in a respectable 5th place. Despite the incident ruining his chances of challenging eventual winner Nico Rosberg, Raikkonen explained that it was not all doom and gloom but admitted it was not an ideal situation.
