Hülkenberg: Safety Car destroyed race

– Nico Hülkenberg believes the timing of the Safety Car at the Chinese Grand Prix destroyed his race as he finished a lowly 15th for Force India for the second successive event.Hülkenberg leapt from 13th on the grid to fifth on the opening lap but had to wait behind team-mate Sergio Pérez during the first round of stops and tumbled down the order.Hülkenberg was also hit with a five-second penalty for driving too slowly at the pit entry but reckons excessive tyre degradation, caused by dropping back in the pack, was more disruptive to his race."It was a frustrating race in the end, even though the start and the first few laps were great," said Hülkenberg, who set the...
