Rosberg claims pole as Hamilton's MGU-H fails again Nico Rosberg took pole position for the Russian Grand Prix while his teammate and nearest title contender Lewis Hamilton was failed to compete in Q3, following engine failure ended his qualifying session early on Saturday – provisionally the Brit listed in 10th. Mercedes is still unsure if they will have to change any engine elements before the race. MGU-H had to be replaced when the same problem happened two weeks ago in Chinese Grand Prix.
